I actually have never seen another game to compare to this one and I believe R/C Stunt copter stands alone until you step up to the simulators that cost hundreds, so by comparison their is none. with practice on this game you will save yourself literally hundreds on broken parts as an R/C copter is a very expensive hobby for this exact reason. If you find yourself playing this for hours and days on end for weeks or even months then perhaps a real R/C copter is the thing for you. So if you ever wondered what it would be like to fly an R/C copter without throwing down thousands for a copter and parts then this is well worth the price. But also for a fifteen year old game it still packs an afternoon or evening full of fun, albeit with the aggravation I previously have mentioned. Being life what it is and the game being fifteen years old I think the time has passed where any refinements will be made. If they were to rework it and fix this one and only problem with R/C Stunt Copter and re market it I believe it would be a Smash hit with all who encountered it. But being the camera focuses on a directi on nowhere near where the copter is once the boundaries of the playing area are reached it makes this game impossible to play with a large degree of satisfaction, and this is why I gave it 3 out of 5 possible stars. If the designers would have left the camera to follow the copter around the edges of the boundaries the way it does thought the rest of the playing area I would rave about this game from sun up until the next sun up. This in itself leads you to fail on missions and this is where the aggravating part comes in.
It is a good reference to learn to fly an R/C copter, however, the camera angles in the game leave you wondering where you are, what your copter is doing and how close to objects you are. It is much like flying my R/C copters and helps to bust the rust off my knuckles. This game is as fun and as aggravating as it ever was back in the day. I always liked this game and owned it when it was new so when I saw it for sale I jumped on it right away. Fun and agrivating and well worth the price.
